When the Finke Theatre reopened in 2009, The Kapital Kicks were our very first stage performance. This Jefferson City 16 piece dance orchestra plays favorite big band selections by greats such as Glen Miller, Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin. Come listen to thos e toe tapping timeless classics that we all love.

Rick Thomas’s work has been described as “illusions to astound the disbelieving.” Thomas brings us a stylish show packed with grand illusion and plenty of audience participation. Rick Thomas relocated to the Andy Williams theatre in Branson after performing in Las Vegas for 15 years.

Come celebrate the holidays with The Lucky Old Sons!  The group will perform music from their 2013 release, "A Very Lucky Christmas,"  featuring original songs written by pianist/vocalist, Matt Davis, plus many holiday classics that have been reworked by the band. The group's unique combination of 1950's style piano-driven rock-n-roll, clever songwriting, and tight vocal harmonies are on full display throughout the show. The Lucky Old Sons features Matt Davis on piano/vocals, Frank Bauer on tenor saxophone/vocals, Corey Woodruff on drums, and Steve Bauer on electric mandolin/vocals.

The members of the CPI Organization Committee will host “Dancing with the Stars” event, to be held at the Finke Theatre on April 9, 2016 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The featured “star” dancers are Steve Wasser dancing with Vickie Schroeder, Beth Schoeneberg dancing with Rudy Schroeder and Charlie Roll dancing with Lana Dicus. The dancers have been asked to learn to dance the waltz, the two-step and a dance of choice. The audience will vote on their favorite couple. During the second half of the program, there will be featured demonstration dances and some dances with audience participation. At the end of the program, the children in the audience will be asked to come onto the stage and dance the Hokey Pokey and the Chicken Dance. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids. Tickets can be purchased from Mary Ann Wasser, Beth Jungmeyer, Vickie Schroeder, Dolores Burger, or at the Beauty Bar from Sally Vogel.

Veteran comedians and fellow Baby Boomers, Jan McInnis and Kent Rader have joined forces to bring The Baby Boomer Comedy Show, Clean, Stand-Up Comedy For People Born Before Seat Belts to The Finke Theatre.  This 90-minute theater event is filled with clean humor on topics the boomer generation can relate to- family, children, grandchildren, work, do-it-yourself projects, dieting, aging, and is perfect for the Boomers around America!

Sunday, May 1, 2016 2pm

Please join us on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. for a wonderful afternoon of entertainment and support of the Finke. The Blue Hearts Club Band from Columbia, MO is a newly formed talented youth band that asked to perform at the Finke as a fundraiser.  The Finke is excited to promote this event! Tickets will be $10 with open seating available and may be purchased at the door the day of the event.

The Bluegrass Martins are at the Finke! If you haven’t seen the band perform lately, the younger kids have all grown up and the family has continued playing bluegrass gospel all over the country at festivals and fairs. The family’s self taught style features tight vocal arrangements and strong instrumental support. SPBGMA Midwest Awards selected the Bluegrass Martins as the Instrumental Band of the Year for 2015. You won’t want to miss this show, local talent is a treasure!

Join us for "Drinking Habits", a farce by Tom Smith!

Wine and romance will be flowing as mysteries of who, how, and why are discovered during this live play performed by The Finke Community Players. All actors and actresses are from the California community and their talent will amaze you!

The cast includes Jeffrey Shackleford, Pamela Green, Dennis Donley, Nathaniel Donley, Christina McMillian, Fallon Muir, Emily Bilyeu, and Kayla Barnard with expert direction by Audie Cline. The Finke is priveledged to have Mr. Cline, a veteran of the theater with roots in our community.

Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for 14 and under. Saturday night season ticket holders may have usual seats. Season holders may use their tickets on Sunday but with open seating only.
